If I Could Be Any Person For A Day

If I could be any person in the world for a day, I would choose to be Bill Gates. He is the founder of Microsoft. I chose Bill Gates because he is one of the richest person in the world according to the Forbes Magazine. With money you can basically do whatever you want or have whatever you want. You can go on expensive trips, buy expensive items, or donate money to charities. These are the reasons why I chose Bill Gates.

It was a good night sleep, I didn't want to wake up but I had to. I went downstairs to find my children and my wife eating breakfast. My children hollered " Good morning dad! " at me. I gave them all hugs and sat on my favorite chair to eat my delicious breakfast. After eating breakfast, I dropped my kids off at their school. I got back home and just relax and lye on the couch and watch some of my favorite television shows and movies until my eyes get tired and go to sleep. I woke up from the sound of my kids knocking on the door. It's almost time for dinner and we'are really getting hungry, so I ordered pizza, not just pizza but the finest pizza in town. It was getting late and I went to my bedroom and went to sleep.

Bill Gate's life is probably easy seeing that he is very rich and mine is very challenging. His life would be really easy and effortless because he can just hire maids to clean his house for him. He can just relax everyday and do whatever he feels like doing. For me, I would have to do stuff myself to get it done. I can't relax everyday since I am very busy everyday with school, house work, and etc. These are the reasons why Bill Gate's life is probably easier than my life.

Summary

On October 24th, Tuesday at night there was a Python snake found in a toilet at an apartment in Woolner Avenue, near Jane Street and St. Clair Avenue West. He called 9-1-1 immediately and calmly, he wasn't scared at all. Then, another snaked showed near that area too it was a yellow corn snake.

Reflection

I would have reacted like if i found a dead body. I, myself is scared of snakes, lizards or anything scaly. I would have screamed very loud and i would panic and run to my parents. I would go in my bedroom and let my parents handle everything since i am very scared.

Where Nelly Furtado Should Have Given The Money

I believe that Nelly Furtado should give the one million dollars back to the people of Libya. She should give it to them because that country is struggling right now and it is also a developing country so they really need the money right now. Since Qaddafi payed her one million dollars and that the money came from the people if Libya. It would make sense giving it back the them. If she did give it to charity like Me to We she should pick to free the children in Libya because there is child labour going on in that country. These are the reasons why i believe Nelly Furtado should give the one million dollars back to the people of Libya.

Problems that the country of Libya had. Since other countries are bombing the country of Libya trying to hit Quddafi. Other people are getting getting injured and dying because of the impact of the bomb. People that are innocent are getting killed by the bombs. They also have financial problems. They also had a bad leader that was in control of their country. These are some of the reasons that Libya had.

How is this a public school?

Chris Selley's new article is about the system of public schools. He says public schools that has more wealthy kids from parents earn more money than public schools that has more poor kids. We're talking about differences up to $500 and even $1000 per student during a school year. He says banning parents from donating to public schools would help solve the problem, as long as the provincial government would give money to all schools to a level where donations would be unnecessary. Another plan was collecting all donations that came from parents and distributing them evenly.

The most important way  to look at the issue is "The most marginalized 20% of the schools ... raise less than 1/3 of the funds that the least marginalized 20% of schools raise." The top 10 fundraisers brought in $515 per student and got an average 8.75 out of 10 rating. The bottom 10 fundraisers brought in $17 per student, and averaged a 5.3 rating. Or the other way: The top 10 TDSB schools in the Fraser Institute rankings - all ranked 10 or 9.9 - raised an average of $164.45 per student. The bottom 10, with an average rating of 2.3, brought in an average of $58.64. The most any of them raised was $234.86 per student - 73 schools raised more than that. And one of the 10-out-of-10 schools was among the bottom-10 TDSB fundraisers. While no student should be excluded from participating in any school activity or event based on the ability to pay, some activities or events may require some recovery of the cost for participation.

I think that this is not fair at all. It's not fair at all because the fact that students can not attend any events or trips if they did not pay for it is not fair. What if they could't afford the trip because of their family's financial problems or they just couldn't afford it. Then students will be missing on school trips that it is not their fault. So schools that are richer tend to be better and schools that are poorer tend to be worse. Therefore i like the idea of banning parental donations to public schools and pooling all parental donations and distributing them evenly.

I also know that even though students that have raised a decent amount like $160 they were still ranked 10 or 9.9 rating. So i don't think fundraising can interfere on student's knowledge. But however having a richer school means more supplies and better technology. It matters about how smart you are, it doesn't matter about how much you donate for a fundraising, it doesn't change how well you at school, it actually doesn't do anything except helping you're school.

Opinions on E-Learning For Elementary Schools

E-learning would help out elementary schools too. It would help because, I think kids like to use more technology at school and the more they like something, the more they work hard for it. It would also help out teachers because they wouldn't need all those papers and books on their desks, they can just assign the students to do it on a computer or laptop and send it to the teacher right after. It would also be easier, faster and understandable for the teachers and students. Student's can also type faster than typing with a pencil or pen, so it would save time. These are the reasons why E-learning can help out elementary schools.

Why E-learning would be bad for elementary schools. The school will have to buy more computers or laptops for the students and I think the school will not have enough money for everyone of the students. But some students may bring their laptops to school. The school will have to pay the Wi-Fi fee or again, the students can just bring the internet stick from their home. If all elementary schools would do this, it would also be bad for the economy because it is using a lot of electricity which means people would have to burn more fossil fuels than before. These are the reasons why E-learning would also be bad for elementary schools.
